3. Killing Poseidon & Flooding The Earth

Though you can't really blame Kratos for fighting back when attacked by Poseidon, he probably should've employed a little more critical thought when it came to the consequences of murdering the God of the Sea.

After Kratos crushes Poseidon's eyes and breaks his neck, the God falls off the cliff edge and into the sea, where the impact triggers a gigantic tidal wave which appears to flood the entirety of Greece, presumably killing millions.

This is ultimately a further consequence of Kratos opening Pandora's Box, as once a corrupted God is killed, the Evil has to go somewhere, and it typically manifests in the way of cataclysmic "natural" disasters or plagues. Oof.
