God Of War: 10 Worst Things Kratos Has Ever Done
10. Using Poseidon's Princess To Prop Up A Door
Though some of Kratos' unsavoury actions at least have an air of moral ambiguity to them, there's not much of a grey area when it comes to his abuse and eventual murder of Poseidon's unnamed sex slave princess in God of War III.
After hearing the princess' cries, Kratos heads over to her, only for her to refuse his "help" out of fear. Kratos cuts her loose regardless, but only because he needs a body to continue his quest.
Kratos ends up attaching her to a crank in order to hold a door open and allow him to move forward, and once Kratos has made safe passage through, the poor woman is brutally crushed to death. Especially sick players can even return to this area to look at her mangled remains. Lovely.
It's not bad enough that Kratos already has a pretty iffy relationship with women throughout the franchise, but taking a thoroughly defiled sex slave - who is forced to walk around half-naked, no less - and using her as a literal prop to reach the next area is pretty terrible.
Could a man of Kratos' strength and ingenuity really not find a more humane way to keep the crank turned?
