God Of War 2018: 9 Subtly Genius Easter Eggs You Totally Missed

In experiencing the land of Midgard from the perspective of a heavyset mountain of muscle, some of the more subtle Easter eggs inserted by Santa Monica can all too easily slip by unnoticed, especially when they're affixed to a pint-sized child who, if he's not tracing his father's footsteps, is performing all sorts of sight-obscuring acrobatics.

Take a moment, though, to assess Atreus' dress sense, and you'll come to discover that the crimson-coloured loincloth Kratos wore during his time in Greece survived the journey to Midgard, only now repurposed as a sash to keep his son's midriff nice and cosy.

Hopefully not without first giving it a thorough wash, though. Lord knows how much blood that rag has soaked up in its lifetime.
