Gran Turismo 7: 7 Things Fans Want To See

4. A Robust Offline Experience

It is no secret that GT Sport's single player mode was a let down. With limited options and a bare bones career progression, it left little for fans hoping to have something offline to fall back on. The bar was set pretty high by GT 4 and fans are hoping for even greater depth in GT Mode.

After all is said and done, the true joy of GT is buying a car, tuning it to its vary limits, and seeing what it can do around your favourite race track. As serious and exciting as the online mode can be, fans love Gran Turismo because it also allows us to have a laugh as well.

Is it fun to tune a BMW M4 up to 700hp? Yes... But is it more fun than maxing out a Daihatsu Midget and trying to drift every corner of the Nurburgring? No ways. GT provides us with the Tabula Rasa to live out our wildest automotive fantasies. From the fastest supercars to the most bizarre of Kei cars, it's all there for one to explore and mess around with.

GT 7 needs the depth offered by the likes of GT 2 and 4. Fans yearn for the same challenges those games offered. Progression and success needs to be earned, instead of lazily attained like in GT 5 and 6. We want 24 hour events with changeable weather and time. We want Station Wagon races and classic Touring Car battles. And if we are celebrating the career of one of the greatest racing drivers ever, we want more than 3 events to pay homage.

Fans want nothing more than a fully fleshed out GT 7. All Polyphony needs to do, is give it to us.
