Gran Turismo 7: 7 Things Fans Want To See

2. In Depth Vehicle Customisation

For many years, GT has lagged behind Forza Motorsport in the area of customisation options. From body kits to engine swaps, Forza allowed gamers to create some rather special machines. Craziness like putting a Mustang V8 into a Ford Sierra RS500 wasn't just permitted, it was encouraged. Fans are yearning for the same level of tuning options in GT 7.

The main reason why fans want this so badly, is the fact that Gran Turismo promises so much more. It's partnered with HKS, Blitz, Spoon, Trial, Mine's and numerous famous tuning firms. This means that they have a much deeper well of resources to draw from in terms of real world car tuning knowledge and possibilities.

Furthermore, GT offers an unmatched car list. If one wanted to tune a Supra one could not only fit a variety of Toyota engines for an engine swap, but also look to Lexus for a V8 or a V10. Other games simply don't offer such options. One can only wonder whether or not GT 7 will allow the player to go that far overboard, yet it would be game changing if they did allow for it to be done.

In depth customization will certainly add to the longevity of a title. With a community being able to share builds, one can easily see how players will eventually refine vehicle tuning into an artform. Not to mention the insane creations that will come out of it all.

Now about that LFA powered Supra...
