Grand Theft Auto 6 - 10 Things We Must See
9. One Playable Lead Character (Well, Mostly)
Getting to play as Michael, Trevor, and Franklin in Grand Theft Auto V was good fun, and brought a lot of variety to the game. However, it also resulted in a somewhat disjointed story at times, and as enjoyable as it might have been to jump between them, it also made it, well, three times as hard to get invested in what was going on in the game.
Going back to a single protagonist in GTA VI is a must, as it's fair to say we all cared more about CJ and Niko given how much time we ended up spending with them. However, that doesn't mean Rockstar can't find other ways to add variety to this long overdue sixth instalment.
The odd side mission allowing us to play as a different character would be no bad thing, especially if it leads to a very different gameplay style; perhaps the option to play on the other side of the law as a cop is something that would work! After all, that would lead to a very different experience, and might make for a nice distraction every now and again.
Oh, and in terms of that one main lead, we're definitely on board with a female character this time!
