Grand Theft Auto 6 - 10 Things We Must See

7. Don't Make It Too Realistic

While we're keen for there to be consequences for our actions in Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar needs to ensure that they don't end up sucking too much of the fun out of this video game world. For example, we don't want speeding tickets or the end of guns having a seemingly endless supply of ammo (despite your character having nowhere near enough pockets).

Sure, it's a little ridiculous that you can head to the airport and steal a plane, but that silliness is what makes these games so much fun. There's definitely a middle ground to be found here - Saint's Row, for example, went too far with what was and wasn't realistic - and as much as we want to see our own world reflected in GTA VI, escapism remains as important as ever.

Something we could definitely live without next time, though, are silly levels about aliens and various other drug-induced hallucinations. However, getting a criminal record which changes the way people and cops interact with you definitely wouldn't hurt in terms of a little more realism in this world.
