Grand Theft Auto 6: 8 Insane Rumours We Hope Are True
4. Full Virtual Reality Support
Virtual reality headsets that are actually worth owning are now a thing thanks to the likes of PlayStation VR and Oculus Rift, but killer compatible software is still in short supply.
A rumour that has gained traction online suggests Rockstar could make an ambitious bid to set that right with GTA 6 by making the entire game virtual reality compatible.
This would be a ballsy, unprecedented move by the studio, not to mention a controversial one considering some of the things players usually get up to in Liberty City and Vice City.
Some form of VR support would make sense given that the medium is expected to have grown by the time GTA 6 finally gets here, but the logistics of launching the entire game in virtual reality are problematic.
Still, the concept of diving head first into Liberty City's underbelly might just be insanely cool enough to justify meeting the PlayStation VR's steep asking price.
