GTA 6: 10 Things From GTA 5 That Must Stay
1. Multiple Protagonists
Finally, it's an absolute must that GTA 6 carries over 5's super-sweet multi-protagonist idea. Eyebrows were raised when Rockstar first revealed we'd be playing as Trevor Philips, Franklin Clinton and Michael De Santa in 2013. Doubting looks were then turned to happy smiles when it became clear the feature was slick and intuitive.
There was never a dull moment in 5 because of the 'switch at any time' ability. Bored of Michael's arguments with his family? Switch to Trevor and find him ranting to himself in a park at midnight. Tired of listening to Lamar Davis and wish Franklin would pop him in the jaw? Well, assume control of Trevor or Michael for a spell.
The whole system just worked, and it'd feel weird to go back to a solitary main character. Rockstar proved their ability to weave more than one story in GTA 5, and we'd like to see them give it another go. More than a trio might be a tad too ambitious though, so it'd be best if they stay true to what has already worked in the recent past.
Besides, that Claude fella' could never shut up...
