6. The 'Leaked' Snapshot

The most recent leak for GTA VI is a bit of a doozy, in that it almost seems too good to be true.

Surfacing on Reddit during the week, an image purportedly snapped at a Rockstar event formally unveiling GTA VI started doing the rounds on social media. It's all kinds of blurry, but it is possible to distinguish Miami's skyline in the background, as well as the familiar Vice City font in the bottom right hand corner.

Unfortunately, while the image did manage to send fans into a relatively brief craze, it was soon debunked. The font on the lower right hand side is easily downloadable, and there's also the logistical issues that would prevent Rockstar holding a physical event during the ongoing state of global events.

Still though, at the very least, this mock-up does give us a decent idea of what GTA VI could look like on next-gen hardware. Vice City seems nailed on at this point, and if Rockstar are making nostalgic throwbacks to that game, who's to say they won't reuse their old fonts?
