GTA 6: 7 New Rumours Everyone Is Going Crazy Over

5. The Game's Map?

Fans will recall how an early version of Red Dead Redemption 2's map was leaked all the way back in 2016, so there's clear precedent for more map leaks to occur as Rockstar progresses further into the development of the next GTA.

A number of fake mock-ups have been made of GTA VI's map ever since the Project Americas leak from the other year (so far the most convincing of the bunch), with fans having a bit of fun imagining what the next title could look like, and others simply having a bit of mischief trying to deceive people into thinking what they've made is real.

Most so far appear to be wide off the mark, at least given what we know from the most convincing rumours so far. The most recent of these, though, surfaced during the last week, and depicts a new version of Vice City complete with its own version of the Everglades.

While the map itself points towards a sizeable open world, it does also seem a little small given the leaks and rumours we've heard so far, which all point towards the next title including multiple cities - not just one.

It's more than likely that this map isn't real then, but don't rule out the possibility of the actual map dropping prematurely eventually. If it happened to Red Dead, then it can definitely happen to GTA.
