5. Every Rockstar Team Is Working On It
Now onto something confirmed by Rockstar themselves (and parent company Take-Two): GTA VI is in full production, and it's pretty much all-hands on deck from every studio in the Rockstar family.
Though Rockstar North usually takes the reigns on the franchise, the company's games have become so ambitious that recently they've required the resources of more than one studio. Red Dead Redemption 2, for instance, was worked on by every Rockstar studio, and GTA VI looks to be no different.
Recently, the company confirmed that support for Red Dead Redemption Online was being all but stopped in order for the developers to migrate over to working on GTA VI. Consequently, don't expect any other game announcements from Rockstar anytime soon - while there may be small teams planning other titles, the bulk of all the company's studios are currently collaborating on this beast of a project.
