Grand Theft Auto 6 isn't the only unannounced gaming product that's generating hype online. Fans are eager to learn when the PlayStation 5 and Microsoft's next-generation successor to the Xbox One might arrive on the scene. According to numerous reports online, all three could land around the same time.

According to Value Walk and other sites, GTA 6 could be a launch title for the PS5 and next Xbox, developed exclusively for those machines. Although the sequel would benefit from next-gen tech, here's hoping it doesn't skip the PS4 and Xbox One.

Not everyone will upgrade to the next-gen machines at launch, so giving the sequel a cross-gen debut of sorts would allow the entire fanbase to play it upon release. GTA 5 debuted on PS3 and Xbox 360 before landing on their successors with enhancements, and this is the strategy Rockstar should stick with next time around.
