GTA Trilogy Remake: 10 Missions We Can't Wait To Play (& 10 We're DREADING)

15. Dreading: Death Row - GTA Vice City

Throw in a time limit on almost any Grand Theft Auto mission and it pretty much instantly moves from fun to OH-MY-GOD-I- CAN'T-BELIEVE-THIS-IS-THE-20TH-TIME-I'VE-DONE-THIS before you know it.

In Death Row, Lance has been kidnapped and is being held hostage in a junk yard. Tommy must then drive almost across the entirety of the map with a time limit gauge showing Lance's health dripping away slowly but surely.

Once he arrives at the junkyard, Tommy must gun down all of Ricardo Diaz's henchmen there, slowly moving towards Lance as both his (and likely your own!) health is dropping rapidly.

When you reach Lance, you'll then need to drive him to the hospital. The only problem is Diaz's men are trying to stop you, and will drive after you and try to smash your car off the road.

The whole thing is just a recipe for failure. You can take too long to get there and not have enough time to rescue Lance. You can get there and be gunned down by the henchmen. You can get there, rescue Lance, then have your car blown up by the henchmen. It's just not good.

If only you could just leave Lance there to die, given his betrayal later in the game.
