GTA Trilogy Remake: 10 Missions We Can't Wait To Play (& 10 We're DREADING)

14. Can't Wait: The Exchange - GTA 3

Let's get this out of the way first: Out of the original three games, Grand Theft Auto 3 is probably the one that's aged the worst. It was revolutionary at the time, but by modern standards, its gunfighting is laughable and the missions are needlessly difficult because of it.

However, with the Definitive Edition trilogy bringing modern aiming mechanics to the table, a lot of GTA 3's formerly annoying missions will be far more enjoyable.

That means that the final mission should get to play out in all its epic glory, rather than becoming an exercise in frustration.

The Exchange is one of the most intense missions in GTA 3. After exchanging $500,000 with former girlfriend and relentless lunatic Catalina, protagonist Claude is betrayed once again, as Catalina steals his money, orders the guards to kill him and flees in a helicopter.

What follows is a multi-stage mission where Claude must kill the guards attacking him, follow the helicopter, and fight his way through the Cochrane dam, filled with Catalina's Cartel goons and her trying to kill you with rockets from a helicopter.

It all ends in truly epic GTA fashion, with Claude having to shoot down the helicopter with a rocket launcher himself.
