8. Call Of Duty Ghosts
The COD franchise rumbles on, as big and unstoppable as a planet. While the COD games are in danger of becoming a tad repetitive, ...Ghosts looks to conquer the Christmas market and hold the attention of gamers circa long while after-a tough task with Battlefield 4 imminent. From the first few plays, it seems like a tough task completed. There seem to be less major overhauls on Ghosts than in previous titles such as Modern Warfare, and more focus on tweaking existing elements, such as Battle Chatter improving your tactical nous by having your soldiers relay enemy positions to each other, and the new 'Marksman' class being particularly welcome. While it takes a bit of mastering, it has a bit more scope to it than the Sniper class, and makes the gameplay more versatile as a result. Whether or not COD:Ghosts manages to outperform Battlefield 4 remains to be seen; I'm personally looking forward more to the latter, as Ghosts seems to be lacking in major innovation, though I did end up playing it more often than GTA V. What is indisputible is that it has already sold by the barrel-load. If you don't already own it, you're in an ever decreasing minority that's missing out.
