7. Battlefield 4
If there's any game that is likely to rival GTA V in terms of both popularity and quality, then I suspect it to be the imminent arrival of the fourth installment of EA's war series. The Battlefield games have always has their strongest appeal lying in their multiplayer modes, and the premise of 4 plays to these strenths. The new Obliteration mode, where you have to wipe out three different sets of enemies by capturing a bomb, talking it to your enemies territories and protecting it until it arms and wipes everybody out, sounds fiendishly difficult, and fantastic. The Battlefield series always delivered on tactical nuance and strategic accuracy-If the fourth builds upon these strengths, we could be looking at 'game of the year' terrority.
