GTA V: 15 More Amazing Easter Eggs & Secrets You Need To Find

13. Goldfinger Car

James Bond Db5 Another movie reference can be found in the aftermath of the Devin Weston Car Jobs - once the cars have been boosted, head into the Legendary Motorsport website and scroll through the available cars for purchase and you'll find the familiar looking Aston Martin from the image above, which also appeared briefly in the second trailer for the game. If that appearance only hinted that the car was a reference to Goldfinger, the specs on the in-game website, and the name of the vehicle - the JB 700 - are the confirmation that Rockstar have brought in James Bond's most iconic car. The car boasts Machine Guns, Spikes and a Seat Launcher, but sadly, "for safety reasons" the weapons have all been decommissioned (which will presumably be "fixed" as soon as PC modders get their hands on the game), though of course you do get the option to use the fully activated car in a mission with Franklin at another stage in the game. The description is genius - mixing Rockstar's obvious affection for the source with the usual irreverent GTA tone:
"Grease up the drive shaft because this hot number has curves in all the right places. A classic luxury grand tourer, the JB 700 has been the car of choice for drunken mysoginistic British spies since 1965. Dist off the tuxedo, quip a sexual double-entendre, pour yourself a martini for the road and stumble out as everyone in the room mutters what a turd you are. For safety reasons this vehicle's concealed weapons have been decommissioned."
Jb 700 Just to be a pompous douche, the DB5, on which this car is based, actually first appeared in Goldfinger in 1964, not '65. Incidentally, during a mission involving the same car, it seems that Rockstar have used the car's license plate to hint that the PlayStation exclusive game Agent could still be in the works... Agent
