12. Drive, Max Payne & The Shining Clothes
Again, the movie references keep coming, as the game's available wardrobe is littered with clothing Easter eggs from Hollywood. The first, which appears above in the image, is available from the clothing store near Trevor's house, and if the design wasn't obvious enough, the name "Champagne Driver Blouson" should confirm where the jacket's inspiration comes from. It is clearly a homage to Nicholas Winding Refn's Drive, only replacing the scorpion, which was emblazoned on Ryan Gosling's back, with a crab (following the odd crab motif theme from Floyd's bath mat). Next up, players can buy a familiar looking Hawaiian shirt, which is about as close as you're likely to see to that worn by Max Payne in Max Payne 3, another game made by Rockstar. And finally, in one of the discount stores, you can pick up a red jacket called the "Overlooked red blouson", which looks identical to the iconic garment worn by Jack Torrance in The Shining, and directly referencing the hotel from the movie - The Overlook Hotel.
