9. Braaiiinnnnnnns!
Following the trend set by pretty much every other major game franchise in recent years (or so it seems anyway), Rockstar have put a nod in to the gaming world's fascination with Zombie modes by adding their own walker into the world of Los Santos. Typically turning the convention on its head, the game allows you to converse with the zombie, who initially appears as your typical everyday walker, hungry for brains and without the normal social skills of a living human. Except when you engage with him, he offers a surprising response, which is yet another successfully funny flourish in a game packed with jokes... Zombies have long been mentioned as one of the things that fans most want added to the game in some capacity, and Rockstar did have some with the release of Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare. In the wake of that game's success, Take Two's CEO Strauss Zelnick
spoke about the trend and confirmed that he'd like to see more zombies in Take Two games...
"We had the presence of mind to add zombies to the title; and everyone always loves zombies...I'd like to do zombies in everything, but I probably can't say that here. But they do sell."
But for now, this is as much as we're getting, unless the online portion of the game brings some special missions.
