2. The Hype
Almost anti-hype, Rockstar have shrewdly drip-fed us information over the past 18 months in a move that has left us speculating and gagging for more information almost daily, and even with the recent glut of information, were still yet to see any actual gameplay and all we have to go off are the reports from press events and demos that have been happening. Quite frankly, the way its been handled, youre more likely to successfully hack into NASAs computers than you are to obtain a leak with reliable GTA V information.
Make or Break: The hype that Rockstars marketing team has created is undoubtedly a good thing, and has no doubt made GTA V the most anticipated game of 2013. However, like I mentioned earlier, all the hype has to be lived up to, otherwise GTA V will be nothing but a high-profile flop.
