3. The Campaign Would Be Incredible And The Online Would Be Epic
GTA 5's campaign was a great exercise in characterisation and fluidity. You could seamlessly switch between characters and help yourself and the numerous other characters out of any given situation, which, in terms of the zombie apocalypse, would make for a thrilling campaign. Following the Red Dead tradition, you'll begin by trying to discover answers to the plague that has swept your dear city, but soon find yourself caught up helping others, be they returning characters from the game or all new ones. If something goes wrong and your current character is cornered, he can call in the cavalry. If somebody is in danger and you are too far away, switch over to a closer character to get there in time. On the other end of the heroic spectrum, if you want to raid a store for supplies rather than help the poor people holed up inside, call for backup and get looting. You have to stock up if you want to survive in post-apocalyptic Los Santos. Of course, the random zombie killing sprees and desperate last stands might be more your kind of thing, in which case you simply need to hop into GTA: Online, buddy up and paint the town red with up to fifteen other zombicidal players. It goes without saying that this theoretical undead mode will best suit the online world.
