GTA V: 6 Reasons Why It Needs A Zombie DLC

1. Zombies Need Something New

Dead Island When looking at zombie games, I often find that they split down the middle. Some, like Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising, are completely over the top and unrealistic but so much fun. Others, like DayZ and The Last of Us, are gritty and emotionally straining, forcing everything out of you to survive. Perhaps the most important fact to consider in this theory is that the former of the two subgenres is dying out (again, no pun intended). Resident Evil 6 and Dead Island: Riptide underperformed, Left 4 Dead 2 is now a distant memory to most, and Call of Duty: Zombies is becoming increasingly tired and overplayed while Sniper Elite received a 'Zombie Army' sequel nobody really cared about. We need a new over the top zombie game to revive the market (got to stop with these puns now). And short of Saints Row, there aren't many games that can top GTA for being over the top. It has the right balance of gritty story, brilliant satire and real emotion with balls out action and crazy violence, backed by an insanely intelligent developer, to bring something fresh to the seemingly tired zombie genre. Admittedly the idea is unlikely, fresh from the top of my head, but a gamer can dream, and dream big. Do you think a Zombie DLC would be awesome, or just a waste of time? Would you play it? Let me know in the comments.
