We've already established that the women in GTA V are depicted as prostitutes, strippers and blonde, vacuous, air-headed bikini babes who can occasionally be found wandering around with their breasts out at certain points in the day. But it's the continued lack of a female protagonist that tends to draw most fans ire when it comes to discussing attitudes toward women in Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar included three protagonists for the first time ever in a GTA game with V, yet they still saw no room to make one of them a woman, while there are very few if any strong female roles found throughout the game. Grand Theft Auto may have been viewed as a 'man's game' about a decade ago, but times have changed since then - more and more publishers are giving women more prominent roles in their video games, and it's time Rockstar followed suit and got with the times.
