8. Grass Roots - Trevor And Michael

The Stranger missions in Grand Theft Auto V lead into some of the game's... well, strange encounters. All three protagonists will meet Barry, an advocate for the legalisation of marijuana, but Trevor and Michael's confrontations are particularly bizarre, thanks to some sampling sessions. Both have vivid hallucinations which see them slaughtering their fears and laying them to rest - literally. Trevor gets confronted by a rogue gang of clowns while Michael has to avoid an alien abduction with the help of a minigun. Mowing down clowns with Trevor is particularly entertaining; the horns of their clown vans creates a circus atmosphere and they even stop to do a little dance before being riddled with bullets. How sweet. Afterwards, Trevor seems to lay his fears to rest; Michael's obsession with aliens continues throughout the game. At the very least, Grass Roots shows just how unhinged our protagonists really are. Will the next-gen releases increase the entertainment of these missions? Who knows - at the very least, we could get some next-gen 1080p drug haze effects. Remember kids, drugs are bad, m'kay?
