GTA V Review: 10 Things We Love

5. The Missions

Gta V 2 The missions in Grand Theft Auto V are usually all based around a variety of heists ranging in scale. Heists see the player go on daring bank raids but there's so much more to it than that. Where once you may have been all on your own against a load of goons in a mission, now you have back-up. GTA V allows you to plan out your heists to the finest point, from the "crew members" you employ through to tactics. Each crew member will want a specific share of the loot at the end, so the more experienced and professional shooters will demand 15%, while the inexperienced get-away drivers and hackers will only ask for 8%. Deciding who to take with you on a mission basically dictates how much money you're going to make, while you can also decide if you want to go in "loud" or go in "smart". Going in loud will see our heroes kick the door open and walk in bold as brass with shot guns pointed at the cashier demanding everyone get down on their knees, while going in smart will see the characters drop knock out gas down an air vent to send the staff and customers to sleep while the loot is collected. Whichever way you go, it's going to end with a huge wanted level and a frantic police chase, setting up a dramatic finale.
