GTA VI: 10 Huge Rumours You’re Not Supposed To Know

3. It Will Cross The Pond To London

How long can the GTA series keep cycling between that holy trinity of cities - Los Santos, Liberty City and Vice City - before fans start craving something new? Sure, Vice City is yet to get its current-gen reimagining, and while this would no doubt make plenty of people rejoice, others will question wonder whether Rockstar is simply afraid of trying a new location altogether. One of the more widely-rumoured possible locations for GTA 6 is London. True series veterans will recall that the original GTA had an expansion pack set in London in 1969, so this wouldn't be entirely new territory for the series. Also, let's not forget that the lead developer of recent GTA games is British-based Rockstar North. if those guys can get such a good grasp on American culture, just imagine what they could do with British culture? London is a thriving world city with a veritable mixing pot of different cultures. From Chinatown, to Bangla Town, to seedy Soho where you feel that untold criminal activities may be going on behind every door, it's a city ripe with illicit opportunities. As possible GTA 6 locations go, London is very much an outsider. Back in 2013, Rockstar's Dan Houser said in an interview with The Guardian, "we would love to set a game in London, but I don't know if it would be a GTA game". So who knows? Maybe 'GTA VI' might not be branded GTA at all.
