GTA VI: 10 Big Things It Must Fix

8. A Complimentary Online Experience

The hype leading up to GTA V's online expansion could never have been fulfilled by the time the content was actually released. Server problems and connection issues plagued the first weeks (even months) of GTA Online's life, all with the promise that the game would improve wholeheartedly once they were fixed. But the game never really recovered. While not a failure by any means, GTA V's online suite just didn't quite live up the hype that surrounded it. Missions, races and deathmatches are all fun, and messing around in the sandbox with your friends rarely ever gets old, but there's no real core tying all of these factors together. Sure you can level up your character and buy an apartment and stock up on cars, but all this feels a bit empty after a while. Unfortunately, the one feature that seemed like it would tie all of these competing mechanics together was the heists, but well over a year after release and gamers are still waiting to get their hands on this content. Maybe when the next instalment arrives Rockstar can deliver on the online experience that was promised for GTA V.
