GTA VI Rumours: 10 Biggest Speculations

8. First Person Mode Will Stay

Cornflakes were choked on, legs were in the air and jaws were left to be swept from the floor when it was announced that the re-released GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One would feature a 'First Person' view for the first in the series. Exactly what this would mean for the experience remained a mystery, but upon release, the perspective was remarkably successful, switching up the more traditional behind character view and offering something a little fresh and interesting. First Person Shooters are still a huge part of the video game industry, it seems to be a popular prospect for developers to include the ability to switch camera angles, but GTA hadn't really touched the idea outside of sniping or taking pictures. For GTA VI, it seems that the view point will definitely be included, but will it be modified to make it a different experience? If Rockstar can tweak the system a little more, giving players some tricks they can't perform in the more regular 'Third Person' perspective, there's a real chance to tailor the game play to individual gamers. After all, there are some folks who much prefer seeing the action from the eyes of their character, and those people expect certain things from FPS titles. This is one to - fittingly - keep an eye on, because Rockstar have shown time and time again they can excel with new mechanics.
