5. GTA VI Will Follow Format Of V Only In Vice City
If Portland, Oregon isn't to be the location for GTA VI (it still feels weird typing that), rumours abound that Rockstar are ready to embrace the sleaze, glitz and neon lighting of Vice City, still one of their most popular settings. The beauty of GTA: Vice City was that it contrasted heavily with the drab, rainy Liberty City in GTA III. The fifth main installment took players back to Liberty, but will the sixth one head back to Vice City? In a sense, Rockstar could really get away with using the exact same template set out in GTA V, just changing the location and characters. Hell, the story could even have many of the same hooks, such as the main protagonists struggling to get along, but coming together through adversity, along with bank heists and other familiar elements. Vice City is still beloved by gamers today, and it's not uncommon to hear of people going back to the 2002 game and giving it another whirl, just to experience the city itself. The colour palette was striking, almost exciting, and enthusiasts of the GTA world would surely love to see an upgraded Miami playground to mess around in.
