11. Multiple Cities And Locations
Where to go following the expansive hyper-detailed rework of San Andreas? Well, hopefully London, but rather than having to just focus on one city, why not take segments from two or three, and extrapolate the character-switching mechanic to jump overseas? Tying in things like money laundering or drug trafficking into a story that relates to multiple characters all doing their bit in their respective cities would be a unique take on the pacing of things, and when it comes to mashing them all together either through characters invading each others lands or providing a helping hand, it'd increase the overall scale of the game immeasurably, It also goes without saying that the whole "Hey, America can be pretty hypocritical and ridiculous right!?"-nature of the scriptwriting is wearing just that little bit thin, and it's about time someone else got their respective cultural history given the 'GTA treatment'. Rockstar have the spotlight to shine on anyone these days, and although it may initially seem like a risk setting a GTA in London or any major European city, people would still buy it, and it's then up to Rockstar to make it work.
