Halo 5 Vs. Black Ops 3 Vs. Star Wars Battlefront: Which One Is Best?

7. Split-Screen Multiplayer

Halo 5: It doesn't have it, sadly. In order to maintain that steady 60 FPS, as well as a prevailing industry belief that people aren't interested in split-screen anymore, it was ditched from Halo 5 despite being a major staple of previous games in the franchise. What a shame. Black Ops 3: Offline multiplayer allows up to four-player split-screen for both regular MP and Zombies, while online still caters to two-player split-screen. Yes, the visuals look decidedly uglier across four boxes and the black bars are supremely annoying, but hey, at least they put some effort into actually making it happen. Battlefront: The main "single player" components of Battlefront can also be played co-op with a friend online or, more importantly, via split-screen, but again, it's a pretty meager offering. If the game allowed the pair of you to go online together to play Walker Assault and the other multiplayer modes, then they might've been onto something. WINNER: Black Ops 3 crushes the other two here in terms of, well, everything.
