Halo 5 Vs. Black Ops 3 Vs. Star Wars Battlefront: Which One Is Best?

5. Multiplayer: Overall

Halo 5: Oh, what a joy it is to ride Warthogs once again. Halo 5's multiplayer may not feature the most impressive map selection, but it's an absolute blast all the same. Gone are the connection problems that basically ruined The Master Chief Collection, and the addition of the new Warzone mode helps bring even more diversity to the suite. Black Ops 3: It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but BO3's multiplayer is as absurdly addictive as ever. With regular MP and Zombies to boot, there's a ton to keep you busy here, and the wall-running abilities help differentiate the game a little from Advanced Warfare. Battlefront: Ridiculously enjoyable and presenting a sense of scale that's been missing from the multiplayer shooter since, well, Battlefield 4, Battlefront makes the most of its Star Wars theme while serving up an agreeably casual-centric shooter. It's not the most sophisticated online FPS ever, but it's ridiculously fun all the same, whether you're in a war of attrition on the ground or taking to the skies in Fighter Squadron mode. WINNER: All strong showings here, but Halo 5's meaty gunplay and array of options makes it feel the most diverse and entertaining.
