Halo Infinite: 10 Ways To Save The Franchise
2. A Return To Classic Multiplayer
We'll never get a game like Halo 3 again. It not only came out at the perfect time, but it had perfect multiplayer to boot. Everything simply jelled together, exactly where Bungie wanted it to. So many memories were created on the servers of Halo 3.
The sandbox of previous the previous Halo games were iterated on in an excellent way with Halo 3. The implementation of equipment, for instance, added a great level of variety to the sandbox. Being able to throw out a gravity lift right as an enemy vehicle was about to splatter you, launching them up in the air, was unparalleled fun.
Moments like this were lacking from Halo 5. It would be great to see a greater emphasis on the traditional Halo sandbox return for Infinite.
As 343 have already confirmed that the grapple shot will be a pick-up in multiplayer, this return to a more classic-style Halo online experience seems to be the direction 343 are heading in.
If they combine this with old school maps and battle rifle starts, Infinite will be close to replicating the joy of playing classic Halo, with some modern upgrades.
