Logan Marshall-Green has been on the cusp of breaking out for a while now. That's not to say he hasn't had any starring roles, and that's not to say he hasn't been in any big franchises, but he hasn't had both simultaneously.
He appeared in the Alien franchise in Prometheus, and went on to appear in the MCU as Jackson Brice, AKA the Shocker (but not the important Shocker).
He also starred in Leigh Whannell's critically-acclaimed cyberpunk, body horror sleeper hit, Upgrade, and made an appearance in the hit Netflix miniseries, When They See Us.
It's only a matter of time before gets a high-profile role, and if he was smart, he'd ingratiate himself with the nerd community, since properties based on things once considered nerdy (like video games, comic books, science fiction, and high fantasy) are now dominating global pop culture.
What better way to propel your career than to land the leading role in the HBO adaptation of one of the greatest games of all time?
Even though he's not a household name, he IS a talented actor, and his physicality and quiet intensity could make for a perfect Joel.
