7. Really Sucks - Removal Of Some Abilities
This might just be because the beta takes place 20 years prior to the other games and features a rookie 47 (the rest of the full game will apparently continue the main timeline), but if two really cool abilities have been lifted altogether, it's not going to go down well. Both the taking of a human shield and 'Point Shooting' (taking out multiple targets at once, Splinter Cell: Blacklist-style) are nowhere to be seen, although I'm holding out hope that it's because IO are going to show off some sort of progression-based ability unlock system for the full release. As mentioned earlier, you can feel the regression back to the older, entirely stealth-focussed games as soon as you start playing, and this approach would mean that taking away moves geared towards killing multiple foes at once would make sense. However, as Blood Money introduced human shields as a way to ensure you survive any skirmish to make a quick getaway and essentially try a 'stealthy' run again without a full restart, you'd expect such things to carry forward.
