With the upheaval and re-designing of numerous elements of Mafia for its 2020 remake, it was awesome to discover that Hangar 13 stuck to the series' early 21st century roots with the nick-nacks included in the box.
The enticing £24.99 cost lends itself to digital purchasing, yet folks warmed to the game enough for it to be included in the top 10 physical releases twice, once as a stand-alone title and again bundled with the second and third entries in the trilogy. Those opting to stack it on the shelf as opposed to download it from digital stores were in for a treat, as a poster of the glorious cover art was included in the box. A small but significant addition harkening back to a time where such a thing was the norm.
Sure, it does nothing to elevate the quality of what's on the disk, but remembering the series' roots in the 2000s by including such a quirk will surely make all those who own the physical edition crack a smile.
