Two years is a very long time in technological terms. Assuming that the game aims for a 2015 release date, that gives Injustice 2 plenty of time to ready its wares. Since the arrival of Gods Among Us (which already looked pretty damn good on the Playstation 3 and its equivalents) weve already had the PS4 and Xbox One (both of which received an upgraded re-release of the game) so, given all that potential prep time, Darkseid only knows how great its sequel will be able to look when it lands. That newer, shinier next generation technology will allow the artists and developers at NetherRealm Studios to iron out any glitches, polish up the fight mechanics and perhaps widen the scope of its battles even more, creating an even shinier, more immersive experience. With videogames looking more and more cinematic with every upgrade, it should be the next best thing to having Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill duking it out in front of you on your living room carpet. Gods Among Us indeed. Even better, maybe WB, DC Comics and NetherRealm can find the time between them to develop some costumes which don't look completely awful. Just keep Jim Lee well away...
