Injustice 2 - Predicting 15 Essential Characters That Must Be Included
12. Jonah Hex
Jonah Hex is just an awesome character. You probably didn't get that impression watching the abysmal 2010 adaptation of the same name, but don't let that blight on the character's filmography sully how you view him. Beneath the woeful veneer of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor's script lies a truly captivating character - one that would feel right at home in the Injustice canon.
Sure, there is the question of Hex's setting that would, on the surface at least, prevent him from making an appearance alongside Batman, Superman, and all the other heroes of the present day. He's a western anti-hero through and through, but that shouldn't stop NetherRealm from bringing him in; after all, if inter-dimensional travel is perfectly acceptable, who's to say that time-travel isn't?
Hex could easily own battles with his trusty set of armaments, but his visual appeal alone is enough to sell him to a wider audience. He's essentially a facially scarred version of The Man With No Name - what's not to love?
Don't take my word for it though, watch the stellar animated short he was in that starred Thomas Jane and Linda Hamilton. It's fantastic.
