Injustice 2 Vs. Tekken 7 - Which Game Is Better?

Conclusion

It would've been very easy for NetherRealm to make its loot-grind completely soulless; a microtransaction-requiring indulgence that didn't contribute meaningfully to play. It would've also been easy to 'churn out' another story mode, like the difference between Mortal Kombat 9's groundbreaking version, and MKX's being completely forgettable.

It would've lastly been very easy to dumb down or otherwise make TOO accessible the fighting mechanics of each character. This is a DC-themed product amidst the company's ongoing attempt to catch up to Marvel, after all.

Thankfully, there's an overall feeling of confidence and passion in Injustice 2 - one that comes from NetherRealm really being at the height of their career right now - that elevates the product substantially. Tekken 7, when you really look at it, feels like Tekken 6 with many animations from Tekken 5 and 4, whereas everything in the DC-focused fighter is almost on another level entirely.
