7. Ditch Gear-Based Moves

One of the other problems in Injustice 2's loot system was the unlocking of gear moves. These were moves that were not available to the player when they first picked up the game, rather, they had to be unlocked through the Mother Boxes. This meant that some players would never have the ability to play around with some of the coolest moves in the game because they never got lucky in unlocking them.

By ditching this system and adopting what MK11 did will allow all players to use the moves NetherRealm lovingly crafted. In MK11, some moves are not allowed for when the player engages in a ranked match, meaning they have to chose a specific loadout that NetherRealm created.

Although there were problems with this at launch, Injustice 3 has the time to make sure they don't repeat them. This is in contrast to player matches, which allow players to use any of the moves created for the character.

Injustice 2 needs to either adopt this system, or find a way for all moves to be used in any kind of match, so players are able to use all the game has to offer.
