Kingdom Hearts 3: 10 Major Hints For The Future Of The Franchise
1. Sora Vs The Foretellers
After a fairly bittersweet ending, Kingdom Hearts 3 manages to get us excited all over again by teasing what comes next.
All of the hints for the next chapter of Kingdom Hearts 3 can be found in the epilogue, which features Luxu and the Foretellers. After showing their return, it teases that they've got a new role to play, with the Secret Reports in the game also teasing that the Master of Masters will be returning.
The chess game that Young Xehanort and Eraqus go on to play is also symbolic of a new adventure, which is even referenced by Eraqus who calls it a 'new game'. In this game, there are seven dark pieces and one lone light piece, which is Sora.
It's not clear who the seven dark pieces are, but it's obvious that some of them are Luxu and the other Foretellers.
Not only does this tease a new enemy for Sora and friends it also reaffirms that Sora isn't dead and can hopefully be rescued in some way or another. This is the next chapter.
