Of the four confirmed Pixar movies on the way, Coco is the only one that's not a sequel. Considering that Pixar tends to be at its most creative when it comes to all-new ideas, the incoming Dia de Muertos-themed movie has a whole lot of spiritual storytelling and amazing holiday imagery potential firmly on its side already.

Unfortunately, not much has been revealed about the film beyond the fact that it will follow a young boy named Miguel, but the mere idea of what Pixar has in store for it is exciting. Considering that it'll be released in November 2017 while Kingdom Hearts III has no firm release date, it'd be cool to see the film turn up in the sequel or beyond, if only to see Sora and the gang immersed in the colorful imagery and moving themes of the holiday itself.
