1. It Will Make You Want To Play Final Fantasy XV

Kingsglaive's primary goal is to make you hyped up to play Final Fantasy XV, and in that regard, it is an undeniable success.

The negatives here don't really seem to reflect on the game itself (though it remains to be seen if the writing is up to scratch or not), and in terms of world-building and aesthetic appeal, as well as a cheeky post-credits stinger, it more than does its job effectively.

It'll be up to fans to decide whether or not the film does enough good to paper over its eminent issues, but it certainly doesn't harm the upcoming game in any particular way, while helping flesh out the wider universe.
