League Of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Analysis: Week 4

2. Team Vulcun (8-4)

team vulcun Team Vulcun went 2-0 this week, making their formerly quiet and consistent presence as loud as Zuna after a big play. With great plays from mancloud, Zuna, Xmithie, and Sycho Sid, Team Vulcun surged past Team Curse and Team Dignitas. This seals their place at #2 on the leader board, although still two games behind Cloud Nine. With smooth play from all individuals on the team, they end up 8-4 after four weeks of stiff competition. Team Vulcun is a major threat to Cloud Nine, and all of the teams are afraid of what this team will do next. Top lane player Sycho Sid dominated his competition in lane against Team Curse as Shen, going 5/0/11; he did not play as well against Team Dignitas using the same champion. Mid lane player mancloud is still one of the best at his position in the LCS, going 8/2/8 on Orianna against Team Curse and 6/3/6 against Team Dignitas on Ryze. He is certainly the most consistent mid laner in the entire North American LCS. Jungler Xmithie, once again, played better than his kill to death ratio shows. AD carry Zuna was allowed his favorite pick Tristana in both games this week and ended up with an overall KDA of 12/5/16. Zuna still plays a bit too aggressive for his own good; it works in some situations but fails miserably in others. Support BloodWater did not steal any Baron Nashor buffs this week but continued his reliable, quiet support work, keeping his aggressive carry alive.
