League of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Analysis: Week 7

T-3. Counter Logic Gaming (10-10)

CLG Logo After some major struggles, Counter Logic Gaming stepped up their game to go 2-1 this week. Their victories were versus two tough teams: Team Vulcun and Team Dignitas. Their only loss of the week came to Team Curse. Their play is a bit sloppy, but most of the time, they do get the job done. If they can clean up some of their play and not make as many mistakes, their record will soar. Their individual players are some of the best the LCS has to offer, but they need to play like it more often. Top lane player Nien struggled a bit this week, but his 2/0/3 game on Zac against Team Dignitas was a big reason why they won the game. Mid lane player Link struggled on Gragas in his game against Team Curse (0/1/0). However, against Team Dignitas and Team Vulcun, he played extraordinarily, going 3/0/6 on Orianna and 11/5/6 on Ahri respectively. Jungler bigfatlp is more annoying to watch than annoying to opposing players. His 0/2/1 Nocturne jungle against Team Curse was slow and ineffective. His 1/1/9 Jarvan IV jungle against Team Dignitas was a little better but still extremely slow. His best game was a 4/5/9 Elise jungle that many others performed better on this week than he did. bigfatlp needs to step up his game. AD carry Doublelift was awesome to watch as usual. His first game as Vayne against Team Curse was a bit shaky (1/4/1), but after that game, he went 13/1/17 in two games as Vayne and Ezreal. Support Chauster struggled in his game against Team Curse, but like the rest of the team, picked up his game on Thresh in the latter two victories.
