8. Velocity eSports (4-16)
After going 2-0 last week, Velocity eSports fell to tough competition once again. They could not carry the momentum they gained week 6 into week 7, and they are now four games behind seventh place Team Coast. Even when they got AD carry Maplestreet some kills, they still could not close out a game. This team is amazing in the early game, but once mid game hits, the whole team crumbles; they end up struggling and hoping to make it to late game. They went 0-3 this week, losing to Cloud Nine, Team Curse, and Team Coast, showing a bit of tilt. Their individual players are strong, but for some reason, Velocity eSports just cannot get it going. Top lane player Vileroze struggled immensely this week in his new role. He could not secure above a .5 KDA all week (5/14/7) with two games on Renekton and one on Rumble. His Rumble against Team Curse was extremely disappointing; I am still waiting for the Kayle top. Mid lane player ecco was no surprise any longer to the LCS teams. His 4/2/4 game on Ahri against Team Curse was great, but his 0/4/4 Twisted Fate against Cloud Nine and 1/2/2 game on Orianna against Team Coast were not pretty to watch. You have to wonder if his success in prior weeks was skill or surprise factor. Jungler NK Inc returned to beginning of season form, unable to make a big play accept at the beginning of their game against Cloud Nine. He contributed 15 deaths and 16 kills and assists combined. AD carry Maplestreet briefly showed flashes of his "beast mode" self against Team Curse, going 4/1/3 on Varus, but he was invisible in his other two games. Support Evaniskus contributed more deaths than assists this week, and that is not a good look for any support.
