League Of Legends North American LCS Summer Split Analysis: Week 8

T-6. Team Curse (9-14)

Team Curse What happened to the Team Curse that began their surge toward third place? They were not around this week, after they went 0-3. Curse lost to TSM Snapdragon, Cloud Nine, and Team Vulcun. Their schedule definitely did not help their cause, but that is no excuse for their performance this week. The game against TSM was winnable, and their attempts to mimic Cloud Nine compositions are not working out for the best. Team Curse has all the elements to be a top team, but for some reason, we just do not see the veterans making the plays. They will need a great Super Week to push their way into the playoffs and avoid relegation. Top lane player Voyboy played a complete utility Shen against TSM (0/2/27), but his Zac and Rumble games this week were average. Mid lane player Nyjacky and his teddy bear played well against TSM on Ryze (7/6/13), but his 2/5/1 Karthus against Cloud Nine and 1/3/2 Jayce against Team Vulcun lacked. Jungler Saintvicious played awfully against Cloud Nine, going 1/4/1 on Jarvan IV. His Zac jungle against TSM was adequate (6/6/17), but his over extension on the final team fight cost them the game. He needs to make smarter plays. AD carry Cop is really good when he plays well (9/5/10 on Ashe against TSM) but is really awful when he plays bad (0/2/1 on Tristana against Cloud Nine). I want Cop to get back on Twitch, which he seems to have the most success with. Support Edward is like a carry in his own right, picking up 1/4 of the kills in their game against TSM (6/8/15 on Zyra).
