Legend Of Zelda: 10 Best Characters Who Only Appear In One Game

4. Saria - Ocarina Of Time

Midna Twilight Princess
Nintendo

Many Zelda games open by placing you into a friendly and charming starting area, and Ocarina of Time's version of this was the quaint Kokiri Forest. You could find plenty to do within this little village, including hunting for rupees, practising the controls at the training ground and, of course, finding a slew of locals to talk to. Saria, the childhood friend of Link, was one who quickly caught your attention.

This polite, friendly and likeable Kokiri is the first character you interact with in the game besides Navi. She instantly fills the title with an innocent and optimistic energy that makes you feel ready to tackle the challenges ahead. However, another one of the most significant selling points is "Saria's Song."

Music is an integral part of LOZ, so having your own unique musical scoring is a definite win; just ask Kass. Saria's Ocarina playing acts as the theme for The Lost Woods and has been used throughout the series many times. It's one of the most beloved tunes in the franchise, which helps to bump Saria up alongside it as another of the best characters in the property.
