Legend Of Zelda: 10 Best Characters Who Only Appear In One Game

3. Ghirahim - Skyward Sword

Midna Twilight Princess
Nintendo

The Legend of Zelda changes a lot, but some things that are consistent are the hero, Link, the princess, Zelda and the big bad villain, Ganondorf. The vile and powerful Gerudo warrior turned demon king is a fitting end boss for the series. However, it's nice to get a breath of fresh air from the green-skinned, ginger-locked monster every now and again. That's where Ghirahim steps in.

Ghirahim, or, sorry, Lord Ghirahim, is the central antagonist of Skyward Sword and the servant to the demon Demise. This arrogant being thinks so highly of himself that he won't even consider Link a real threat and toys with him in their first encounter. That confident, sadistic and over-the-top persona has turned the character into a fan-favourite villain in the LOZ series.

Where Ganon is stoic, Ghirahim is dramatic. Where Ganon is confident, Ghirahim is narcissistic. Where Ganon is power-hungry, Ghirahim is one hundred percent bloodthirsty. His fits of emotion, stellar design and strong writing make him one of the most unique and captivating villains in the entire series.
